about

Twin C-90 cassettes were released in 1991 under the name of He Dark Age entitled 'Queel' and 'Agua Queel'. Before the cassettes were released, Tony Milner left Brisbane for Sydney, so there is this odd blending of songs that Tony had worked on before he left and those that were recorded after he left without his input.

With hindsight the songs without Tony's input should have been released under a different band name, and with a revisionist hand, this is what I've done (see The Sump - Sump Sort Of A Beginning).

What remains is contained on this release - Queel Consolidated - albeit minus some pieces that just didn't cut it in my opinion and one whole side of 'Queel' which consisted of 8 track loop constructions that have been separately released on my solo Bandcamp page.
