(Of course this is just for my benefit as some sort of record of the how and why this thing came about. No need to read further.)

Salesman #2 was recorded at the same time in 2022 as the songs on the 'Another Bunch Of ...' album. It didn't quite fit stylistically with those songs, so it was dropped and became the bedrock for this album. According to Tony, the title comes from the movies where some poor background slob is credited with simply 'Salesman #2'.

The other songs on here were written with Salesman #2 in mind, so there is a fairly down feel to all these little instrumentals, in keeping with the lot of salesmen I imagine.

We are not He Happy Age and we are all salesmen of some sort ...
